Pakistan's presidential spokesperson has warned the Taliban administration in Afghanistan against acting as what was described as a "surrogate mother of terror," according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
The statement came after Pakistan carried out what it described as well-planned and calibrated aerial strikes against hideouts and safe havens of militant groups referred to as Fitna al Khwarij and Fitna al Hindustan, located in Afghanistan.
The spokesperson's remarks reflect ongoing tensions between Islamabad and the Taliban government over cross-border militancy, which Pakistan has repeatedly accused Afghan territory of harboring.
The Taliban administration has not publicly responded to the latest warning, according to available reporting.
