About EGazette
EGazette is an AI-assembled, multi-language newsroom. It gathers stories from public sources, rewrites them into neutral, cited coverage, and publishes them in several languages — automatically, around the clock.
What it does
A background pipeline continuously harvests items from trusted feeds, groups related reports, and drafts a concise article with a headline, summary and body. Every draft keeps its links back to the original sources so readers can check the reporting for themselves.
Breaking stories are surfaced quickly as short briefs, while fuller articles follow once the pipeline has enough corroboration. Each piece is translated into the site's active languages so the same story reaches readers in English, Arabic and French.
How it stays neutral
Articles are written to a strict style: factual, attributed, and free of editorial opinion. Urgency is scored so genuinely important news rises to the top without sensationalism, and an editorial dashboard lets a human review, approve or hold anything before it reaches the front page.
Nothing is thrown away when translation lags behind — a story always appears in its original language first, and translated editions are added as they are ready, never overwriting or deleting what already exists.
How it is built
EGazette is an open technical project: a .NET newsroom pipeline, a SQL Server data store, and a Next.js reader front end. AI is used only for drafting, translation, moderation and urgency scoring — the plumbing, ranking and delivery are ordinary, auditable software.
