Several Countries Show Interest in Russia's Supercam S180 Reconnaissance Drone, Developer Says

Several countries have expressed interest in Russia's Supercam S180 reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), according to its developer, Russian state news agency TASS reported.

Yekaterina Zgirovskaya, a spokeswoman for the Unmanned Systems Group, which develops the Supercam line of drones, said the aircraft has drawn attention from potential foreign buyers but cautioned that its reputation is still being established.

"It still needs to build up a certain track record during the special military operation so that the audience can fully assess its capabilities," Zgirovskaya said, referring to Russia's military campaign in Ukraine, which Moscow officially terms a "special military operation."

TASS did not name the specific countries that have expressed interest in the drone, nor did it provide additional technical specifications or details on potential export plans.

The Supercam S180 is part of a broader family of reconnaissance drones produced by the Unmanned Systems Group, a Russian manufacturer that has supplied UAVs for use in surveillance and intelligence-gathering roles.
