Rwanda and Pakistan have signed a bilateral Trade Cooperation Agreement aimed at expanding trade and investment between the two countries, the Associated Press of Pakistan reported.

The agreement, signed in Kigali, is intended to diversify traded products, strengthen private-sector partnerships and support regional supply chains between the two nations.

It also lays the foundation for deeper trade liberalization, including a possible Preferential Trade Agreement and, eventually, a Free Trade Agreement, according to the report.
