Pakistan's Insurers Settled Over 1 Million Claims Worth Rs548 Billion in 2025: SECP

Pakistan's insurers settled more than one million claims worth around Rs548 billion in 2025, the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) said on Friday, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
The claims spanned motor, accident, health, fire and property lines, per the SECP's Insurance Industry Statistics Report 2025.
Life insurers accounted for Rs410 billion of the total claims paid, with non-life insurers settling the remainder, the report said.
The figures point to continued activity across Pakistan's insurance sector, though the report did not provide a year-on-year comparison.
