OpenAI has hired three former executives from Patreon to help shape its product strategy for creators, according to a report.
Sam Yam, who co-founded the creator subscription platform Patreon 13 years ago and served as its technology chief, announced on X that he is joining OpenAI to lead its Creator Product efforts. He is bringing with him Patreon's former head of product, Drew Rowny, and former head of engineering, Shannon Ma.
