Nir Oz Residents Return to Rebuild Three Years After Hamas-Led Attack

Three years after Hamas-led militants attacked the kibbutz of Nir Oz on October 7, some former residents have returned to live there as the community grapples with how to rebuild.

The attack on Nir Oz was among the deadliest of the assaults carried out across southern Israel that day. According to figures cited by the BBC, 47 people from the kibbutz were killed and 76 were taken hostage, making it one of the communities hit hardest by the violence.
