Yemeni Military Reports 51 New Saudi Airstrikes in Past 24 Hours

A spokesman for Yemen's armed forces said Saudi warplanes carried out 51 airstrikes and missile attacks across Yemen over the past 24 hours, according to a report from Mehr News.

The spokesman said the latest strikes bring the cumulative total in the current round of conflict to more than 1,200 attacks, pointing to a sustained pace of military activity in the country.

The report did not provide a detailed breakdown of the specific locations targeted or the resulting casualties and damage from the latest wave of strikes.

Yemen has endured a prolonged conflict involving Saudi-led coalition air operations, with periodic spikes in reported strike activity accompanying broader shifts in the regional security situation.

Independent verification of the figures cited by Yemen's armed forces spokesman was not immediately available, and officials on the Saudi side had not issued a public statement on the latest reported strikes at the time of this report.

The situation remains fluid, with both sides' accounts of the conflict continuing to diverge in scope and detail as the fighting continues.
