Ukraine launched a major attack on Moscow and other parts of Russia involving hundreds of drones, marking the first acknowledged use of ballistic missiles by Kyiv in the four-and-a-half-year war, according to The Guardian.
The attack killed at least two people and damaged what Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described as one of the country's "key oil industry facilities," authorities said Sunday, according to the report. The strikes occurred on the final day of Russia's parliamentary elections.
Russian authorities accused Zelenskyy of attempting to disrupt the elections, The Guardian reported.
