Seven armed groups opposed to Ethiopia's federal government have announced the creation of a coalition, according to RFI.
The new alliance, named the Coalition of Ethiopian Popular Forces for Survival, includes the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) and the Amhara Fano National Movement among its ranks, RFI reported.
According to RFI, the coalition has set itself the goal of "removing" Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's government and "establishing an inclusive transitional government."
