Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said Moscow views any military cargo bound for Kyiv as a legitimate target, according to a report from Russian state news agency TASS.
Zakharova also said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is "touring the world in search of support," a characterization reflecting Moscow's long-standing framing of Kyiv's diplomatic outreach to Western and other allies since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022.
Russia has repeatedly warned that Western arms shipments to Ukraine, including air-defense systems, artillery and ammunition, are subject to attack, a position it has maintained throughout the war as NATO members and other partners continue to supply Kyiv with military equipment.
The comments come as Ukraine continues to seek additional air-defense and weapons support from allies to counter ongoing Russian missile and drone strikes on its territory.
TASS's report did not specify whether Zakharova's remarks referred to a particular shipment or were a general restatement of Russia's existing position.
