A Haaretz report has revived controversy around Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, France 24's French service reported, seven weeks ahead of Israeli legislative elections.
Citing a forthcoming book, Haaretz said Netanyahu was informed by the United Arab Emirates 10 days before October 7 of a major Hamas operation, according to the report. Netanyahu's office denounced the claims as "completely false," while the opposition demanded explanations amid the intensifying campaign.
