The fight against the Ebola epidemic in the Democratic Republic of Congo is showing "encouraging" signs, according to the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), who nonetheless expects the outbreak to continue for several additional months.
More than 7,200 cases have been recorded to date across seven provinces in the country, according to available information.
