Le Pen, a candidate in France's 2027 presidential election, and her deputy Jordan Bardella published a statement on Saturday, September 19, distancing themselves from Moscow, which they said could not "hope to dictate" French policy "through intimidation," according to the report.
RFI reported that Russia denied posing any threat.
