Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited disconnected 47 gas meters after checking 930 locations in Multan, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
The utility's UFG Control Task Force said the action is part of an intensified crackdown on gas theft, illegal usage and technical violations, the report said.
