Chairman of Pakistan's Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, extended congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the people of Saudi Arabia on the occasion of the kingdom's 96th National Day, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.
In his message, Gilani conveyed heartfelt greetings to the Saudi leadership and to what he described as the "brotherly people" of Saudi Arabia.
The greeting reflects the longstanding diplomatic relationship between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with senior officials from both countries regularly exchanging messages on national occasions.
