Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said artificial intelligence development should proceed "as fast as we can," according to Anadolu Agency, as debate continues within the technology industry over whether the pace of frontier AI development should be slowed.

Huang stressed that AI products must be safe even as development accelerates, the report said.

His comments come amid a broader discussion among technology leaders, researchers and policymakers about the risks and benefits of rapidly advancing AI systems, with some in the industry calling for caution or a slowdown in the development of the most advanced, or "frontier," AI models.

Nvidia, whose chips power much of the infrastructure behind modern AI systems, has become one of the world's most valuable companies as demand for AI computing capacity has surged.

Further details of Huang's remarks, including the context and venue in which they were made, were not immediately available.
