Malaysia's MIHAS 2026 halal industry showcase has opened in Kuala Lumpur, according to a report from Anadolu Agency.
The chairman of the Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (MATRADE) said the global halal industry is expanding "exponentially," pointing to significant growth potential in the sector.
The MATRADE chairman also said there is "enormous opportunity" for Turkiye to play a leading role in the halal industry going forward.
MIHAS has become one of the largest annual halal trade exhibitions, drawing participants from across the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical sectors, among other industries tied to halal certification.
