Israeli Drone Strike Kills Palestinian in Southern Gaza Despite Ceasefire

An Israeli drone strike killed a Palestinian and wounded three others in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, despite a ceasefire agreement in the territory, a medical source told Turkey's Anadolu Agency.

According to the source, the strike targeted a civilian vehicle in Khan Younis. Anadolu did not report additional details on the identities of those killed or injured, or on the circumstances surrounding the strike.

The attack comes amid a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas that has been in place in Gaza, though violations and sporadic incidents of violence have continued to be reported by both sides since the truce took effect.
