Iran's President Says BRICS Summit Advanced Multilateralism, Trade Cooperation

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said the 18th BRICS Leaders' Summit in India produced outcomes supporting multilateralism, expanded trade and opposition to unilateral actions, according to Iran's IRNA news agency.
Pezeshkian said he hoped the 11-country grouping would work together to advance these goals internationally, and he accused the United States of pursuing what he described as harmful objectives in the region and world, according to the report. IRNA did not provide further detail on the specific allegations.
