The report said the moves came as talks between US and Chinese officials in New York preceded a summit between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping later in the week, and noted that German markets largely shrugged off the results of two regional elections, with the 10-year Bund yield retreating five basis points to 3.48%.
According to The Guardian, analysts expect Germany's federal coalition to soften some planned entitlement cuts while still implementing most of its pro-growth reform agenda.
