ESPN Publishes Week 1 Fantasy Football Rankings for 2026 Season
The sports network released composite positional rankings across PPR and IDP formats, along with superflex rankings from analyst Eric Karabell.
ESPN has published its Week 1 fantasy football rankings for the 2026 season, according to the outlet.
The rankings cover composite evaluations for each offensive position, including quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends, as well as defense/special teams units, ESPN said.
The publication includes rankings formatted for point-per-reception (PPR) leagues, which award scoring for each reception, and individual defensive player (IDP) formats, which incorporate defensive player statistics into scoring, per ESPN.
In addition to the composite rankings, ESPN fantasy analyst Eric Karabell provided separate superflex rankings, a format that allows managers to start an additional quarterback in place of another offensive position, the outlet reported.
The rankings are intended to assist fantasy football participants in making roster decisions ahead of the opening week of the season, according to ESPN.
