Eight people, including one child, were wounded in a drone attack on Russia's Ulyanovsk region, according to regional Governor Alexey Russkikh.

Russkikh said all medical services in the region had been placed on high alert following the attack, as authorities worked to treat the wounded and assess the extent of the damage caused.
