Dolly Parton Estate in Dispute With Nephew Over Alleged Threats

The estate of the late Dolly Parton is engaged in a legal dispute with the country music star's nephew and former head of security, Bryan Seaver, amid allegations that he threatened her manager and other associates, according to the Guardian.

Seaver was responsible for Parton's security and was tasked with publicly announcing her death, which he did in a video released on 25 August, saying at the time that doing so was "something Dolly asked of me years ago."

The estate has filed for a restraining order against Seaver amid allegations of intimidation, which he denies. Details of the specific incidents underpinning the allegations have not been made public.
