ظهرت في اليابان وكالات متخصصة توفر خدمة الاستقالة الوسيطة للموظفين، حيث تتولى هذه الوكالات التواصل مع أصحاب العمل نيابة عن الموظف وإنهاء علاقته بالعمل بسلاسة، وفقا لما ذكرته Deutsche Welle.
