Heavy rain that struck Dera Ismail Khan in the early hours of Friday prompted the Water and Sanitation Services Company (WSSC) to intensify its dewatering operations across the city.
Following the rainfall, WSSC field teams remained active at multiple locations to remove accumulated rainwater and support drainage and clearance efforts.
The company's response focused on clearing waterlogged areas to reduce disruption to residents and maintain access on affected roads.
Authorities did not immediately provide details on the extent of flooding or the number of locations affected by the rainfall.
