World leaders have gathered in New York for the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
Security was tightened around UN headquarters as the high-level debate opened on an agenda covering artificial intelligence regulation, climate change, inequality, and conflicts including those in Ukraine, Sudan and the Middle East, APP reported.
The agency said Pakistan intends to push for dispute-resolution mechanisms during the session.
