Witnesses describe Israeli 'double-tap' strike that killed Gaza child and medic
A 15-year-old boy and a medical worker were killed in successive strikes on the same location in northern Gaza City, according to witness accounts.
Mohammad Abdul Zinati, 15, was walking home from school through rubble on Salah Khalaf Street in northern Gaza City when he stopped at a supermarket where classmates had gathered. He was struck while attempting to help a man wounded in an initial bomb attack, witnesses said.
The Israeli military said the incident was under review. The IDF has repeatedly rejected allegations that it deliberately targets civilians, stating it assesses the risk of civilian harm when carrying out strikes.
