A small farm in Powys, Wales, produced a bumper harvest of courgettes, cucumbers, tomatoes and salad leaves for children in Birmingham, The Guardian reported.
The produce was grown by Tilly Gomersall on land provided by a charity, despite a challenging growing season marked by heatwaves and drought across Wales and much of England, according to the report, which noted the site was uncultivated pasture 18 months earlier.
