Volunteers Collect 235 Tons of Waste Across Three Districts in Russia's Yakutia

Volunteers taking part in the "Clean Arctic" environmental project collected 235 tons of waste from three districts in the Sakha Republic, also known as Yakutia, according to a report by the Russian news agency TASS.

The cleanup effort, carried out in the Russian Arctic region, is part of a broader initiative aimed at removing accumulated waste and debris from environmentally sensitive northern territories, TASS reported.

According to the report, the "Clean Arctic" project is set to expand this year, with organizers planning to cover twelve districts simultaneously, up from the three districts included in the recent cleanup.
