A Venezuelan national was seriously injured after being shot in the chest by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent during a foot chase in Austin, Texas, on Monday, France 24 reported.
The broadcaster identified the injured man, citing his lawyer, as Wilber Garcés Pérez, a 28-year-old delivery worker.
France 24 did not report further details on the circumstances that led to the chase or the man's condition following the shooting.
