The Houthis told US officials that a 2025 ceasefire agreement between the two sides remains in effect and that the armed group has no intention of attacking American shipping in the Red Sea. The group confirmed that only Saudi-linked shipping would be targeted, citing Saudi Arabia's blockade of Yemen as the reason.
