Two Contractor Employees Arrested in Pakistan for Overcharging Hospital Parking Fees

A team from the Anti-Corruption Establishment in Sargodha arrested two employees of a private contractor on Friday for allegedly collecting excessive parking fees at the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in Joharabad, according to a report by the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The operation was led by Assistant Director (Investigation) of Anti-Corruption Khushab, Atif Shaukat, and supervised by Magistrate Ahmed Waqas of Section 30, APP reported.
The two men were identified as Abdul Malik and Ghulam Mustafa, according to the report.
Authorities said the pair were caught red-handed while demanding parking charges higher than the officially sanctioned rate from visitors to the hospital, APP said.
