President Donald Trump made more than 1,000 stock trades in July worth between $79 million and $270 million, according to his latest financial disclosure filing released Tuesday.

The filing shows Trump made more than 440 purchases and roughly 700 sales during the month. His two largest sales were of Amazon and Microsoft stock, each between $5 million and $25 million, executed on July 20.

On the same day, Trump also sold up to $5 million worth of Oracle and Costco stock and between $500,000 and $1 million in Nvidia shares. He additionally purchased up to $5 million worth of shares in Intuit and Salesforce, among dozens of other transactions carried out that month.

The disclosure comes amid ongoing public debate over elected officials trading individual stocks while in office, with critics arguing that such trading activity can raise conflict-of-interest concerns given officials' access to non-public information that could affect markets.

Financial disclosures of this kind are required under federal ethics rules, which mandate that senior government officials report their financial transactions, though the specific dollar amounts are reported in broad ranges rather than exact figures.

The scale and frequency of the trades reported in July add to a pattern of active trading activity noted in Trump's previous financial disclosures.
