Nearly two months after more than 70,000 people crossed en masse from Morocco into the Spanish enclave of Ceuta on July 30 and 31, calls circulating on social media continue to urge further crossings, according to RFI.

The broadcaster reported that some posts encourage people to act on Wednesday, September 23, the day of Spain's legislative elections. RFI said thousands of people in the enclave remain without any support amid what it described as a dire humanitarian situation, as authorities reinforce security measures.
