Tame Impala's Kevin Parker Says He Will Stop Signing Autographs, Citing Aggressive Collectors

Kevin Parker, the Australian musician behind the band Tame Impala, has announced he will no longer sign autographs, saying he has faced pressure from what he described as “aggressive” professional collectors, according to The Guardian.
Parker, 40, made the announcement in a series of Instagram Stories posted on Monday while on tour in North America, the report said.
According to the report, Parker claimed that some so-called “autograph hounds” had used children in an attempt to gain access to him and obtain his signature.
In addition to ending autograph signings, Parker said he will no longer take photographs with fans at hotels and airports, the report said.
The Guardian did not specify further details of the incidents that led to Parker's decision, and it was not immediately clear whether the policy would apply to all future public appearances or specific venues during the current tour.
