Les Gardiens de la Révolution iraniens affirment avoir frappé une base militaire américaine en Jordanie et environ vingt bateaux dans le Golfe en riposte à des frappes américaines.
Selon les Gardiens de la Révolution, armée idéologique de l'Iran, ces attaques visaient une base militaire des États-Unis en Jordanie ainsi qu'une vingtaine de bateaux dans le Golfe, présentées comme une réaction à des frappes américaines antérieures contre des pétroliers iraniens.
Aucune confirmation indépendante de ces attaques n'a pu être obtenue pour l'instant. Les États-Unis n'ont pas encore réagi officiellement à ces allégations.
