SUPARCO to Mark World Space Week 2026 Across Pakistan

Pakistan's national space agency, the Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), will mark World Space Week 2026 with a series of activities held across the country from October 4 to 10, the agency announced.

The commemoration will include a range of educational, awareness and public engagement activities designed to introduce students and the wider public to developments in space science and technology.

This year's theme

This year's global theme for World Space Week is "Rocket Revolution," which organizers say highlights the evolution of rocket technology over time. SUPARCO's planned events are expected to draw on this theme to explain how launch technology has advanced and what it means for scientific research, satellite deployment and space exploration more broadly.

World Space Week is observed annually as an internationally recognized platform for promoting space science education and cooperation in space activities. SUPARCO has in past years used the week to organize seminars, exhibitions and outreach programs at schools and universities across Pakistan.
