Starbucks workers say their health insurance premiums have risen sharply this year, in some cases more than doubling, according to a survey cited by the Guardian.
The survey, conducted by Starbucks Workers United among more than 130 workers at unionized and non-unionized stores, found significant cost increases set to take effect Oct. 1, the report said.
Some workers said they are considering going without coverage or taking a second job because of the costs, according to the Guardian.
