SSP Islamabad reviews church security ahead of Sunday services

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Operations Islamabad, Qazi Ali Raza, visited police personnel deployed for the security of churches in the federal capital on Sunday, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan.

During the visit, the senior officer reviewed the arrangements made for the protection of worship places and worshippers attending Sunday services. He inspected the deployment of police personnel stationed at church premises across Islamabad and assessed the security measures already in place.

Directive to remain vigilant

Qazi directed the deployed police personnel to remain alert and vigilant while performing their duties, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a visible security presence at places of worship. The instructions come amid a broader effort by Islamabad Capital Territory Police to safeguard religious sites and ensure the safety of citizens gathering for worship.
