South Korean Tourist Converts to Islam During Visit to Türkiye's Mardin

A South Korean tourist converted to Islam while visiting Mardin, a historic city in southeastern Türkiye, according to the Artuklu District Mufti's Office, cited by Anadolu Agency.

The tourist, identified as Shaevn, completed the conversion process during his trip to the province, the Mufti's Office said.

Following the conversion, Shaevn adopted the name "Abdullah," the office added.
