South Korea is planning to send more than 1,400 medical items to North Korea as part of a humanitarian assistance package, according to a report by Anadolu Agency.

The report did not specify further details on the exact composition of the medical supplies or the timeline for their delivery, but noted that the initiative is intended as a humanitarian gesture toward the North.

However, it remains unclear whether Pyongyang will accept the aid, the report said, citing the near-total absence of active inter-Korean exchanges and dialogue channels at present.
