The city of Malibu, California ordered the evacuation of more than 30 properties after a large sinkhole opened on Tuesday near a home reportedly owned by actor Nicolas Cage, the Guardian reported.
Officials declared a local emergency Tuesday evening after the sinkhole, believed to have begun forming Monday, grew to roughly 25-30 feet deep and 30 by 60 feet wide, according to the report.
