Singer Becky Hill Reflects on a Difficult Decade Before New Album 'Rebecca'

Singer and songwriter Becky Hill, born in Bromsgrove in 1994 and raised in Bewdley, has looked back on a difficult period in her twenties, saying she "hated every minute" of that decade aside from the music she was making, according to The Guardian.

Hill discussed being scammed by a modeling agency as a child, coming to terms with sexual assault, and wrestling with impostor syndrome, The Guardian reported. She began making music at 14, later reaching the semifinals on the first series of The Voice UK.

Hill has since released two top 10 albums, collaborated with artists including David Guetta and Rudimental, and won the Brit Award for best dance act in 2022 and 2023. Her new album, "Rebecca," is due out on November 13, according to The Guardian.
