Scotland prepare to face North Macedonia as Pocognoli weighs up his starting XI

Scotland's new head coach, Sebastien Pocognoli, faces a key decision as he prepares his starting line-up for the national team's upcoming match against North Macedonia, according to BBC Sport.

The fixture represents an early test for Pocognoli in his new role, as he looks to settle on a squad and tactical approach that reflects his vision for the Scotland team going forward.

Selecting the starting XI for this trip involves balancing a number of considerations, including player form, tactical fit, and the specific demands of facing North Macedonia in what is an important fixture for Scotland.

As with any new manager taking charge of a national side, the choices made for this match will be closely watched by supporters and analysts looking for early signs of how Pocognoli intends to shape the team's style of play.

The outcome of the match, and the performance of the players selected, is likely to influence team selection decisions in matches to come as Pocognoli continues to build his squad.
