Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Pakistan Plan Emergency Military Meeting Amid Houthi Threat

Military chiefs from Saudi Arabia, Turkiye and Pakistan are arranging an emergency meeting to discuss a coordinated response to a fresh wave of missile attacks by Yemen's Houthi movement, according to Al Jazeera.

The planned consultations come as Saudi Arabia has reported intercepting multiple Houthi missiles in recent days, attacks the group has said were aimed at targets inside Saudi territory, including facilities linked to the kingdom's oil industry.

The involvement of Turkiye and Pakistan alongside Saudi Arabia points to an effort to build a wider regional and allied response to the escalation, rather than a purely bilateral one between Riyadh and the Houthis.
