Saudi Arabia's air defense systems intercepted a ballistic missile allegedly fired by Houthi forces at Riyadh, according to the Saudi-led coalition. The coalition also reported blocking attempted attacks on the cities of Baysh, Taif, Farasan, and Yanbu.
The Houthis, a Yemen-based militant group, have conducted repeated drone and missile strikes against Saudi targets over the past years. No immediate reports of casualties or damage were provided in the coalition's statement.
