San Diego police investigate fatal shooting of family of three in home
Navy veteran David Voight, his wife Amy, and their 13-year-old daughter were found dead from gunshot wounds in their San Diego home on Wednesday.
San Diego police identified the deceased as Amy Voight, 54; David Voight, 56; and their 13-year-old daughter. A weapon was recovered at the residence, according to authorities.
Relatives told police that David Voight was suffering from PTSD. The investigation into the circumstances of the deaths is ongoing.
