Kirill Dmitriev, chief executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said slowing the development of artificial intelligence no longer appears possible, according to Russian state news agency TASS.
Dmitriev's comments were made in response to a Financial Times report stating that the chief executives of OpenAI and Anthropic, along with US entrepreneur Elon Musk, had called for slowing the development of AI models due to safety concerns, TASS reported.
