Russian Battlegroup North commander Vasily Mezhevykh said encircled Ukrainian forces have been struck in the areas of Komissarovo, Krasny Yar, Grachevka, Khripuny, and Buzovo, according to TASS.
The claim could not be independently verified. Ukraine has not immediately commented on the Russian assertion of a tightening encirclement in the Kharkov region.
